Should have known better
I am so pissed at myself for signing up with Blue Voda before checking them out with the Better Business Bureau first. If I had, I would have seen that they have an "unsatisfactory" rating. I also should have read user-reviews from websites such as this one. (I knew something was weird when my password NEVER worked! Apparently this is a common complaint.) Also, it really isn't as "easy" as they say -- I found it to be cumbersome and the tutorial videos didn't always work! I just canceled my account yesterday -- don't know yet if they will steal my domain name. I did read the "terms of service", so I knew I wouldn't get my money back. (BTW, that info is buried deep in the material.) I'm just glad I got out before wasting any more money and time. Live and learn!

Watch out for tricky Blue Voda
Contrary to what they tell you in the video the web builder is not free because it useless unless you sign up to make them your web provider. They say that it cleary says that however it does not and they have it non highlighted and not mentioned in the introductory video - very sneaky I wasted hours building a website to find I couldn't upload it without having them as provider Blue Voda suck and now watch a company stooge write some nonsense here but just check the site for yourself YOU CAN'T USE IT UNLESS YOU PAY THEM

Very informative
I usualy don't read the tutorials but I was glad I took the time to read and view all the tutorials they were very informative. I have had limited contact with customer service and no problems, I got stuck building my site. In checking their fees are lower than most and their site easier to use and straightforward than the other sites around their price and slightly lower. I had no trouble downloading the site. I too like the idea of them selling their web-building program separately. Imagine the very idea they would charge to host and wow they would require they host their website builder results, the nerve of them being in business to make a profit. Aha- that is why we are creating a website to promote our products ---to make money. I trust the ethics of all the complainers will have a higher standard of customer service than they complain about.

how
I am very wary of these guys, its true their website is very impersonal, and cold, looks like it may have been sitting there for a couple of years with no updates whatsoever no sign of recent activity, so it makes you doubt about their customer service and stuff. Anyways I'm tryin to do what a couple of people suggested here about copying the html files, but pictures never show, and besides the forms like searches and email suscriptions some text comes out saying "this form is not operational". This text is not in the html I have a lready checked. So any tips for this and the pic??? oh and yes I did save the page on the bluedove file.

Plus and minuses
well i have been all day figuring wich is the better way to make html web sites... personally i think that blue voda helps a lot to place images and stuff...the bad thing is that they force u to host in their places, but to use is it with out beign force to host therejust go to view select page Html, copy and paste it on a note pad, save it as test.html this way u can use blue voda′s program with out beign forced... remember that pictures and pages must be in the same folder ... another thing try not to use blue vodas templates cuz sometimes they dont work...

Jews
Shame on you James. Jews are always very kind and honest. They would never mistreat or cheat anyone. How can you say such terrible things? You sound like a monster.

JEWS
Jews really know how to do business. They swindle you blind every time. They are experts at it. They have most of us believing in the 6 million Holohoax and most of us don't know that the Israeli Mossad was primarily responsible for 9-11. Israel has a long history of false flag operations.

html on website
hey, don't freak out that they do not show up on the voda creating page. I played with the html button for probably 3 hours before I realized that once you actually "publish" the page, the picture shows up on your website, (but it won't show up on the page you are creating it on.) Seems a bit odd, but that's how I have found it works. Hope that helps. tinamarie

bluevoda as a host
I am not an employee, owner, or whatever, of BlueVoda, so what I have to say is totally from the base of my knowledge as a subscriber of them. I downloaded and began using their site in December of 2007. I believe that my password, my contact with their support department, and except for really understanding how to technically move around in their system, has been a very user friendly experience. The only time that my password, or site for that matter, has not worked or been "down" was due to my forgetfulness to pay my bill on time. They give many, many, late notice emails, so it is not like they suspend your account without notice. In fact, when I found my site down this month because of that, I paid my bill through paypal, copied and pasted it into a email to them and they put my site back up within minutes, so I don't understand how other people have had a bad experience. Mine have all been positive, so far. In regards to setting the site up, it was rather intimidating to me, but I am lucky -- my husband has a bachelor's degree in computer science and was able to easily understand all of the technical jargon, I don't know. I would give this web hosting site a two thumbs up review. Also, it has been my experience through alot of different media that you have to be a little on the "do I believe these reviews or not " side. It's not that I am an untrusting individual, however, some of the previous commentors almost sound like they are working for competing webhost companies just slamming another rival. It is best to sit down with a pen and paper and compare all of them against the other. No domain host is totally 100% what you are want them to be. You can check out my site for a few days, see if I am up and running when you want to view it to see if they are down as often as I have read in the comments below. I haven't experienced that at all. My site is: www.lauraslocket.com Good luck to you. tinamarie

BlueVoda is a total scam!
I almost fell for it, but anything that sounds too good to be true probably is a scam. A supposed customer service agent started im-ing me, but their messages were strange and evasive and unrelated to my questions. I concluded these were canned automated messages rather than a live agent. Then I realized the navigation of their site is really strange. Shouldn't a company that provides website building software have a better looking website with more intuitive navigation? Don't fall for it.

Unethical
I paid for a years subscribtion. My password rarely worked. The server is down most of the time. What Is WORSE, is that the ONE time I needed customer service, the represantative turned out to be spying on my work and sent me an email redeculing my Web site withINSULTING language!!!! I answered firmly that I wish to unsubscribe and a refund(only 1 day after I paid for a whole year). The result is that 1)-they restricted me to access my control pannel 2)-they took the pages I uploaded (stole them) and won't allow me to delete them. or transfer them to another server. 3)-the stole my domain name 4)-so far, I didn't get a refund, my money is ripped off!!!! Shame Shame Shame on this type of fraud practice.
