BlueVoda
I have not used BlueVoda, but I just attempted to go to a website that was created by it.
It crashed/locked up my browser.
I tried a different browser - same result.
Used a third browser to check out the source code - almost solid javascript, including navigation links - how dumb is that ?
Someone want to know of a better webpage-writing application. I'll give you one - a text editor.
I own/run two full domains with a text editor. And I do it in DOS !

I Really REALLY like bluevoda!
Yes... BlueVoda are brilliant. Yes they are wonderfull. (please someone help, they have a gun at my head and they are making me write this. There are ten of us hear. PLEASE PLEASE Hel....Oh crist there looking, got to go) Bluevoda are the cheepest hosting on the net. I have compared them with ALL the other sites on the net and they are the best and can not be beaten EVER! (there not looking, please they kidnapped us from our beds last night and it's our jobs to come on to sites like this and say good things about these crooks, sh!t there looking again!) When i tried other web building sites and hosting comapnies they were no way as good as bluevoda. Bluevaod state very clearly for all to see that you can only use there web builder if you host with them for the very reasonable price of (whatever they want when they have your card info) $7.95 per month, which is in NO WAY as exspensive as $2.95 per month like some other very reputable comapanies????? This is in no way a CONNNN!!! (Oh no i think they have figured out what 'm doing. No no please, i'm doing what you told me to. Oh that, it's just a bit of fun, i didn't mean it. No no PLEASE i don't want to see the Donn. I kissed his ring last month. What he needs us to kiss his ring every month! And once he has got you he'll keep making YOU kiss his ring every month wether you want to or not, just coz once your in your in for life, no matter what you want)

BlueVoda - Ukrainian for ''vomit''
The Ukrainian word for ''vomit'' is ''bluvoda'' - Coca Cola first introd uced bottled water into Russia as Blue Voda, but when it hit the Ukrainian market, they quickly realised their mistake! They renamed it Bon Aqua.
This company seems to be proving that the Ukrainian language has been used to name this product - ''vomit''.

Simple and easy program to learn.
Alright, I have had a pretty good experience. When i first started I made a pretty good looking website without much knowledge about anything. I had to learn quite a bit with linking pages and stuff like that. I never realized they had no customer service, but I found no need for it. The community on the forums are amazing. They will review, help improve your site, and even guide you step by step with any problems. Now that I am fully equiped with photoshop skills i'm going back and creating a website for my mom to sell art. We will see how it goes!
-You need to know the do's and don'ts of website building
-Photoshop skills are essential to a good website.
-Starting on a blank slate can actually confuse you not knowing where to start.
-Community is AWESOME! (go on their forum)
-Some things with bluevoda are difficult (like, making a change on a template, it has to change on all your pages. Or even linking pages.)

Not looking good but I''ll keep trying
I downloaded the BV website builder after I purchased a couple of domain names from 1&1. 1&1''s cheap starter website builder seemed pretty lame so I found this BV outfit and their builder was actually pretty nice. Lots of options, templates, ect... I have never done this before and was able to build one pretty easily. However, downloading the software and doing it on the fly because I paid no money was a challenge. They allow you to DL for free but you need to pay to get to the goods.... info..... and thats fair... I guess. Anyways, I got it all made and called 1&1 and the overseas tech support they had was real good with helping me publish it on their servers. Couldn''t figure out how to get my email to work so I thought what the heck... I''ll pay the 95 bucks to BV and transfer over.
Once you pay the price you get all sorts of emails giving you this and that, lots of links to little videos that explain just enough to get you by but don''t really explain very much to keep you going but I was able to figure it out through trial and error. They don''t have a place for someone to just go too and START and walk you through the system in any type of order. All there is are links to titles of how too videos and some sort of forum where cusomers give advice. I guess its up to you to figure out where to begin first. So then.... I started sending these "tickets" (emails to customer support) I had the website made and ready to publish again, couple questions about email and my password keeps getting rejected. Its an error 12014 msg. You start a "ticket" and someone emails you back with.... watch this video or read this, a couple sentences on type this here or there and goodbye... goodluck. However, the person I had was responding in email almost like I was chatting with her so it seemed OK. She gave me a new password and unlocked this or that and poof... no more communication from her. That was almost noon on the west coast and here I am 8:44PM... OH NOW I look for reviews customers write and find this website LOL! Sometime this afternoon I realized there are NO 800 numbers to call... 1&1 was awsome for being there on the phone but their starter kit was lame. Looking back.... maybe I should of just paid their extra $9.95 per month I don''t know.
I''m going to close up shop and try again tomarrow morning and will let you all know. I think I want to agree with other people that there is not much support... certainly not support in the afternoon or evenings... I would LOVE to speak with a person from India right now or atleast in the BV cust support person''s last email to me...."hey dave closing soon talk to ya tomarrow...OK?" or screw off I can''t figure it out... I''ll get back to ya! Hopefully it will all work out but its not looking good!

Crawling back to Blue Voda
After creating 30 beautiful pages with Blue Voda web builder, I decided to check out the opinions on this forum. Well, I''m ashamed to say that these reviews scared me away and I signed with Just Host 2 days ago. I was never under the naive notion that Blue Voda, in a fit of magnanimity, decided to give their software away to people that were going to use other companies. How could anyone be so...what''s the word...oh yeah, stupid. I felt that it only took me a couple of days to create my masterpiece on Blue Voda, I''ll just do it again on Just Host. Two days of floundering around with the absolutely pathetic site builder on Just Host I have NOTHING. So I going to go crawling back to blue Voda and my wonderful pages.
I have note the numerous allegations that the positive views voiced on this forum are actually planted buy Blue Voda employees. Well, I not a empolee of Blue Voda or any other computer or hosting or whatever it is. I don''t know a HTML from an ASAP, but I can tell you this: I''d be more suspicious of these venomous attacks than of the positive remarks. Competitors fangs come out when faced with a vastly superior product.

i have a great idear and need to build a website somehow, or get someone to build me one. it dont have to be super duper so long as the message gets across. i found bluevoda and thought wow, this was on the 14th dec 09. now it is bang on midnite going into 16th dec 09. i studied wot i could about bluevoda and liked it, then to be save i,m now reviewing it, furums etc. i,ve heard little qibbles about customer services and paying them to host for you. but no one aint told me anything concrete to put me off. customer services can get alittle slack sometimes in our normal daily lifes dealing with business to do with the home or in the workplace. and all i can say to bluevoda is thanks for offering to host the site for me because thats saved me extra stress and killed 2 birds with 1 st e. and all this is from someone who hasnt even got a domain name yet. going to bed now so i,ll make a start tomorrow when i finish my shift on the bus. wake up people. Bluevoda
when you are done with making the website the right click on a blank part of the screen and click html code and copy the code and put it into note pad and save it as an html file or download notepad++ and do the steps and save as html and put the html file on the web it's that easy

BlueVoda great way to your own website
I had started my business and was really constrained financially when it came to marketing that business. Looking to the potential of the internet to help the businesses flourish, I was told that online marketing is a good way to get out there but for online marketing I needed a website. Since I am not a student of computer engineering I didn’t really know anything about website design. I thought of taking assistance from an experienced and skilled web designer. The money they asked for was beyond my budget and I got frustrated.
Then one day close friend of mine told me that there was a free web design tool called BlueVoda. I visited Bluevoda’s official website and was astonished to find that such a user friendly web design tool (and a pretty easy to understand one) is available free of cost. I went through the free tutorials and became fan of BlueVoda. Hats off to the technical team of BlueVoda for providing such a magnificent tool!
I would not have felt so thrilled had I not got this marvelous tool to express myself. The most satisfying feeling is that of seeing my own DIY website up and live on the internet and that too without any kind of very big struggle.
I did have to watch the tutorial videos though. But it’s not like they aren’t there! They are! Video explanations on how to use the program in detail are a great feature!
The website I designed with the aid of BlueVoda is a creation that I will be proud of for days to come!

BlueVoda rocks!!
BlueVoda was my first introduction to making websites. One year before coming across BlueVoda I knew I needed to get internet savvy as an alternative income. The internet is not going to go away, it is only going to get bigger and I figured it would always be a reliable source of income unlike my job at the time.
There was no schools or learning courses on how to make websites so I guessed that Google would supply all the information. My first encounter was BlueVoda and since it was free I thought I would give it a go. I downloaded it within minutes and up came the control panel; It just seemed the same as an internet page and I spent the first day playing around with all the options that were available.
BlueVoda had their own templates, logos, backgrounds and pictures that gave step by step instructions on how to make them appear on the page. I also inserted YouTube videos, media sections, information request forms, rotating banners, pictures galleries and every type of website feature you can think of. My great accomplishment was when I made a whole page for a e-commerce site using the shop now and PayPal buttons.
My first impression when downloading BlueVoda for free was that there had to be some hidden costs along the lines but there is not. There is also no ad ware or spyware. Unbelievable but this is really something in life that is free.
To date I have created six websites with BlueVoda for customers that I have picked up through freelancing work. I am able to promote myself on the web and have another three websites contracted to build. Deciding to be a web designer was the best move I ever made and I have now given up my other boring 9 – 5 job. BlueVoda has enabled me to work on my own terms at my pace and who ever invented BlueVoda should be given a medal.

nice easy simple website builder
I used BlueVoda to create my multimedia site (I make videos and music) and it was a really big help. I'm aware of fairly basic web building techniques and using BlueVoda just made the whole process simple and a lot more creative. Before when I wanted to align text or an image I would just go with left centered or right and now with BlueVoda I can put my logos and text anywhere I want within a page. Want a background, pick it in a browse fashion and it's there. Edit easy options. It’s all good. Insert pictures and move them around all over as you like. Okay, I didn't build my site in 30 minutes like the website said ... it took slightly longer ... but if you're super-familiar with this software I don't see why you couldn't build a simple website that quickly.
I really liked that you can add video's really easily too. I experimented with another web site builder and when it came time to add a streaming video I had real problems writing the script for the streaming player but when I tried the same thing here I didn't have that problem at all. You can just add content as you see fit and it makes the whole process really easy.
I think you should try out BlueVoda or download it and use it to create one website. If you haven’t used anything like it before then it’s a huge step in the right direction to let you do the things you want your website to let you do.

BlueVoda is a really cool website builder
I''''ve been using the BlueVoda website builder for a while now as my site creating software and I really like it. I think as long as you keep your web page fairly simple it really does the job. It sets you free from having to write all the content code yourself (WYSIWYG) and keeps you inspired by showing you what the final product will look like! It just works and is really easy to operate. I’ve never seen a WYSIWYG that allows you to drag content around the page and then place it as you see fit. Also all the website is created in layers which really makes for a tidy and modern looking website.
I’ve built three websites with BlueVoda so far and I’m definitely going to keep on using it to create more.
This lets you make conscious decisions about the design of the webpage you are creating or even change your mind about some of the styling as you go. There are loads of tutorial videos on the website to talk you through most of the functions. So I recommend BlueVoda to anyone who is going about a DIY website. Most definitely! It''''s cheap and cheerful, has loads of features for very many kinds of content that you might want to put on your website like videos and images and tables. It lets you create a really stylish piece of work but I do recommend that you KEEP IT SIMPLE in a sort of less-is-more-vein. It’s free guys, I’d check it out.

Very satisfied with Blue Voda
I've tried several different website building programs and Blue Voda is by far the easiest and best for someone who doesn't know how to write html. I have total control over what I want to put where, publishing to the internet is quick and easy, the hosting price - $9.95 a month - is reasonable. In response to Joette, it's really not true that you are stuck using Blue Voda's hosting service with their website builder. HostGator supports Blue Voda, and there are videos on YouTube showing you how to change your BV files so you can use a different host.
Just my 2 cents (www.havasu-fun.com)

Better Editors
Hi everyone,
Looks like BlueVoda is scammy; I''d sort of figured that out from the start - I never installed the program. I guess if you don''t care about value for money and are able to follow their rules, then so be it - what you choose is up to you. I think that having to use a unique file format to only their program is a money making tactic, since you can''t upload your files to your own server/host.
Here''s some alternatives:
"My Free Website Builder"
Get past all the ad/promo flashy junk, use a junkmail email account, fake name, and then you can get to the download page, finally!
After that it is a fairly good program. Note it is a basic editor, may not suit professionals.
"Ewisoft Website builder"
Has a free full-function demo except with no local publish and puts a link to their site in your menu. Not such a bad thing, maybe there is a way to remove the link. Reg version $40 removes link and allows local publish.
"Personal Web Kit 3.31"
Yes, this is now FREE, although it also has a link back to their page - again, you can probably remove this by HTML editing. This is probably your best option for easy website builders.
There are other website design programs out there - use Google!
I hope this has helped you guys,
Jamie
Review: (out of 10)
Functionality: 7 loses out since no html export
Customer service: 1 ...they did reply, after all ;)
Tutorials/help: 6 relatively useful
Ease of use: 7
Usefulness: 3 locked to their hosting
Overall: 4/10
This program is a nice, easy to use program until you get to the hosting part. It then becomes difficult to do things your way, the service appears to be sub-standard and you are locked to the BlueVoda hosting service.
