Not cool.
Okay, have been looking for a good inexpensive(for now) program to build a website with for a friend, BV's claim's made it seem pretty good, did a (quick) scan with Kaspersky and Mcafee first to see if it was clean (of course being off the WWW always do) and it was, I build a page, go to save it, and realize the F***ing thing wont save in anything except it's own unique format, I think someone should made a file cracker for this program to change it's files to HTML or CSS that would be too funny, I don't believe in stealing, but when they steal from YOU first, I think it's waranted.

BlueVoda - Support Service standards
First read the previous mail extract that I posted earlier today before reading this.
Instead of apologising for the use of foul language in its correspondence to me, BlueVoda support staff responded as follows:

It is your misspelling that has caused this entire confusion, please accept responsibility for your actions.
the spelling edagrxl.com was provided by you in multiple correspondence
I responded to the above mail as follows:
The manner in which you correspond with clients would constitute grounds for summary dismissal in most countries.
I am unsure whether you are an employee or shareholder, but if you:
1)are the former, I hope that you have a forgiving employer.
2)are the latter, you should consider selling your stock and/or changing your career
Your temperament appears totally unsuited to that which would normally be required of a customer support provider.
Kind regards,
.

BlueVoda - an extract of support correspondence
I have attached an extract of email correspondence received today from BlueVoda support staff (VodaHost). Draw your own conclusions re the standard of support provided.
I had asked for details of how to transfer a domain, "edagrxl.com" to another hosting service provider (I had spelt the name incorrectly in the support request - it should have read "edgarxl.com")

Either you are playing games with me or your thick as pig fart...But I will try again for the last time...
edagrxl.com is not registered
You do not own edagrxl.com
edagrxl.com is not yours
you can not transfer edagrxl.com becuase you do not own it.
What part of this do you not understand???...how else do you want me to say it????...

In response I wrote:
Can you please note that I regard the language used in your communication with me as being:
1)unprofessional, and
2)unbecoming of an support consultant and/or organisation claiming to render high standards of service.
Kind Regards

BVoda
I just went to their website and tried to find out the cost but the popup with a live chat person didn't respond to my questions - just saying over and over if I was ready to try it out for free.
That alone turned me off since I could not find out what the cost for the product woudl eventually cost.
I evenutally realized that I was not talking with a real person but some kind of programmed response which was a turn off.
Thanks for the other suggestions posted here.
I am desparately trying to find a way to create an educational website that can handle short videos for training.
I am so tired of trying out trials of places claiming it is so easy to create a website which turns out to be false. : (

Love BlueVoda
Well, I see quite a few negatives here, but I disagree. I love this program. It takes some time to get familiar with it (just like most of the others do also). You'll need to give yourself time to learn the tutorials. If you want more than a very basic site it will definitely take a lot longer than 30 minutes to build it. I felt it was well worth my $100 investment. I like that I can have multiple websites under one hosting package. The Website Builder is free so you can try the program out to see if you think it will work for you. If you like the program setup after you've built few pages than you can go ahead and purchase the VodaHost web hosting package. I'm very glad that I did. If you want to take a peek at my site it's www.CathysHobbyGarden.com

Wowee - what an eye opener!
I downloaded this programme supposedly for free to build a website. Spent a while - definitely longer than half an hour - building my pages but I reckon the pages wont be uploaded now and I will defo uninstal the programme. No point in using a programme which ties you to a particular hosting company and by the sound of things, cheats you as well.
So far, I shall be watching my credit card company's monthly accounts very closely but don't recall ever giving them my details.
I shall also do a thorough "cleanse through" of my pc too.
Thanks for the warning peeps. Hope you all get satisfaction soon.

Getting help
Can't contact anyone. Lost my password and there is no way of getting hold of any help through this compnay. Bad choice on my part not to better research this company before using their services. Actually there are no services. They brag about their help tickets however if you can't log on like myself, well then you're out the money you spent they laugh all the way to the bank. Bad business. I am calling my credit card company to cancel payment and reporting them to the BBB. Don't fall for there sexy add.

Contact
Oh my God what a scam they are. I lost over a hundred dollars to this weak company. I have tried to get ahold of them and it is impossible. No phone contact for sure. I have tried for a week now to contact them via the internet and have not been able to get into my so called account. You have to be able to log in to get support. I doubt now that this company would even get back with me. The only people who insulate themselves like this are criminals and heads of states. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Scam Scam Scam.....They have a section on their web page which reads "Contact" Yea try and contact them I wish you much luck in that endeavor. I am in the Bay Area and deal with many small businesses who are currently and will be building web sites. You better believe that I will be warning them about this company. IF YOU ARE READING THIS CONSIDER YOURSELVES WARNED. Pass on the info.

I was about to download
I was about to download this, and I decided to google it first, because 1,I thought it could have been some kind of virus/scam and I wanted to get some reviews and I got THIS. Thanks guys!!!

why they publish it
seen all the reviews makes me download it coz i think its a good product.... than now coming back here again....well...what can i say. just don't use it... forget about it. there is tons of way getting website done. i finally decide to use the open source. its not that easy since all the function is to much for people like me. but at least knowing your hard work safe is the better and its free as well.
