MyFlix is an integrated tool for searching, editing, and playing MPEG video. You can select any frame in an MPEG movie, play it forward or backward, step forward or backward a frame at a time, and much more. MyFlix turns your video into a thumbnail index of still frames that summarizes the entire video. You can click any frame to jump to that exact point in the video, add frames, and save the thumbnails as a set of instant hot links that you can retrieve next time you want to play those special shots. You can create a custom MPEG movie using the built-in editor or save any frame as a still image to print. MyFlix includes player controls, player clip controls, integrated help bubbles, a 'Welcome to MyFlix' slide show, and a simple test-drive procedure. This release improves the MPEG editing engine. This new version also features support for VCD reading, improved automatic thumbnail generation, the ability to save any frame as JPEG or TIFF, and much more.
"In this 14-day trial, you can create movies of only 300 frames or less, you cannot save frames as a JPEG or TIFF snapshot, you cannot save a shot index, and you cannot convert a video CD movie to an MPEG movie.
