voipstunt sucks!!! this program is never well working and its only purpose is to get your money.

I HAVE BEEN USING VOIP FOR THE PAST THREE MONTHS I PERSONALLY THINK ITS THE GREATEST. ITS ABOUT TIME THAT PEOPLE GET A REAL SERVICE AT A REALISTIC PRICE. WELL DONE VOIPSTUNT.

Voipstunt is brilliant. The free calls to landlines and mobiles to USA and to landlines in Europe make communication way cheaper. Strangely enough the quality of call is better when from pc to phones than pc to pc. The duration of the credit is a bit too short, but if you use to call mobiles too the credit unfortunately is used way sooner than its expiration. The strange thing is that if you finish credit you are not allowed to do free call either... even though the web site talks about 300 minutes of call per week to free destination.

Pros: You don't have to have a PC to use the VOIP service. You can dial a number via their website (called direct dial) where you type in the destination and then the phoneline you want to take the call on. So you dial and the phone nearest you (that you have provided) will ring and when you answer it connects, it costs sure but hey it's handy. It's SIP based, not like Skype which is proprietry software created to their own standards. You can make free PC to landline calls to dozens of places, mainly developed countries. Call forwarding as with most other voip services. Cons: No free voip in number like Voipbuster. Credit expiration a bit of a mystery, top up with €10 of credit and you get 4 months of "freedays" days which this credit allows you to make the free calls to landlines, after that time the credit you have will be used instead. So really, 10euros every 4 months for unlimited international calls is an excellent deal (2.5 euros a month). Give is a try it is very good. And to those asking if there are versions for Windows 98, I'd say perhaps the time has come to move to XP. It's is quite good you know :D This is a good product, try it! Cheers Tongy

I bought a credit but I had no opportunity to use it. Every time there was no possibilityto send my voice! I set the program for modem connection, but it didn't work either. At the same time two other communicators were working properly with the same network! I send question about it to VoipStunt, but I've never received nswer from them. My opinion is: Never use it. Find another solution. VoipStunt doesn't work, and the never return your money!

CANNOT RUN ON WINDOWS 98, IS THERE ANY VERSION FOR 98.
