Donaut's potential to support study and learning
Donaut may have been developed to add enjoyment to IM experience by adding sound effects to the IM experience, but it also has great potential as tool to support group study and learning. I'm using Donaut to support a Skype-based study group. It allows me to share lectures/talks/podcasts saved as MP3 files with the other members of the group. The process is simple: 1) start skype and donaut; 2) establish a conference call with the group members; 3) introduce the audiofile material; 4) play the audiofile using the mediaplayer of your choice pausing as necessary; 5)discuss and reflect on the material. We are also using Facebook to share resources and communicate between skype/Donaut sessions.

I just downloaded their latest version 2.0, and it's super fun. I called some friends and used the voice changer, and we had a laugh of a life time...
