The ShaderStudio MAX was designed entirely based on programmable graphics pipeline. For experienced programmers, it will help them to translate projects from fixed function pipeline to fully adopt the programmable graphics pipeline and take advantages to create HQ graphics programs. For beginners it will help them to learn the programmable graphics pipeline in a well structured way with the help of examples and templates.
This is the second release of the ShaderStudioMAX IDE software package. It is built using the latest Microsoft(r) DirectX 9.0c, hence supports Shader Model 3.0, Geometry Instancing, ATI's Pixel Shader 2.0b, 3Dc compressed normal texture format and GeForce FX Multi-Element Texture (MET).
