Buggy, wasted 5 days, but if worked the best out there!
I'd been entering data for 5 days in the Lite version. However there was a perpetual fault with entering multiple items. So I thought I'd go back to an older more stable version. Installed the update, and it asked if I'd like to install the older version. Installed it. Then found that my database, which constituted over 5 days work, seemed to have disappeared! So I'm totally p****d off with this software.
However, a review. If it worked, and it quite plainly doesn't, it would probably be the most competitively priced inventory/invoicing system out there. Regrettably it's been written by people who seem to know their stuff, but are incapable of putting it across in a way that can be easily interpreted. The first bugbear is that you'll need MS Access Runtime on your system before you can even install the database successfully. Does it say this anywhere on LoSoftware's site? Not even a casual mention! So most down loaders will bin it instantly. And that's a shame as it has the prospect of being a marvelous bit of kit.
Using the database - Setting up stock category's, pricing, suppliers, etc is fairly easy, but could prove difficult for users who aren't familiar with inventory systems. Once again the guys have provided a marvelous interface but backed the software up with a crappy manual. Quite frankly I believe they've abandoned it rather than commit some hours to getting it to work, and providing a manual suitable for all users.
If this solution worked I'd love it. However in light of the fact that it appears to have erased 5 days work without a warning I'd advise others to steer clear.
