SNAPSHOT
Create, share, read, listen to, and print for binding books made from any text file in a pleasant interface that looks and acts like an actual book.
The RetroReader program is able to print out books (downloaded from the internet or created from any text file) in a form that can be bound into actual books. With extra features like an interface that looks like an book with facing pages, Title and Author headers, and a bookmark in the middle - also text to speech so the program can even read your books aloud. All of your books are organized and stored in one convenient place. Books can be easily located, viewed, imported, exported, and searched. Easy to see Full screen option for those who need it. There is something pleasant about reading an actual book which is lost, when the reader has to scroll down to read rather than, more naturally, flip the pages of a book. RetroReader presents books in this more natural and holistic form. With the included text to speech feature, you can even have the program read to you (or your kids) any of the thousands of free books available on the internet.
If you have ever tried to print out an actual book for binding with any program you will have found that those programs create 'booklets', that is, a stack of pages that are to be stapled in the middle and then folded over, which therefore only works for booklets of at most around twenty pages.
Retro Reader creates a bindable book at the push of a button (creating bindable books requires Word 2000 or greater).
