QuickPad is the next version of USDA Keyboard and Sentence Read-Back combined. QuickPad is an on screen keyboard, which will allow users to create documents with the use of the computer mouse only. Once they document has been created, users can easily make the program talk all of the text back to them, or only the selected text. Once the user is satisfied with the document, they can specify any additional formatting, like applying Bold, Italic, Underline or Strikethrough to any text within the document, while changing the fonts, the font size, font colours and the alignment. Other special characters can be entered as well, like the current time, date, days or the week, numbers, months and an external text document. Once the document has been created, it can be saved and accessed again through the recent documents section in the File menu.
The keyboard is presented in a way that most experienced users and first time users would feel comfortable with. All of the extra keys on the keyboard are located on the right hand side of the keyboard, plus all of the numbers being at the top, under the formatting controls. Full printing support is available in the software, which will list al of the printers and will allow you to select which printer the document is printed on.
QuickPad takes full advantage of a new GUI platform, which has been internally here at Understealth. This new Platform, plus are coding platform, will allow us to build programs ten times faster than we were able to before. This is one of the first programs Understealth has built that has taken full advantage of this new platform, while Sticky Notes uses a likely older version.
