Insight Connector is a Microsoft Outlook? "MAPI Storage Provider" plug-in that allows calendar sharing with other IMAP mail servers. With Insight Connector, an IMAP mail server can be used to provide groupware functions of Outlook(2000-2007).
Bynari’s Insight Server or any open source servers, Cyrus IMAP, Courier IMAP, or Kolab, to share calendars, tasks, and folders with Outlook users. In addition, most of the features/functions of Outlook are supported.
Some of the features include resource management, public folders sharing, appointments/tasks scheduling, voting, grouping, calendar sharing, multiple accounts under one profile and other groupware features of Outlook. Over 95% of the features/functions of Outlook are supported with the Insight Connector.
