Nice PDF Compressor
Thanks for this free program. I am a composer who is not rich at present and I needed to upload some of my music to The Australian Music Centre, but couldn't afford to buy a progam, so your program has saved me. My musical notation is handwritten and I paid to have it scanned but the file was too big to upload so thanks - I can't see any difference between the original file and your compressed file. Good luck with the future.

This is a scam!
I just tried this, and it reduced the file from 2,27mb to 2,26 mb. Needless to say, it's a waste of time no matter how quick it is to download.

Made things worse
This actually made the file size LARGER! No matter which algorithm or which compression type chosen, the size always increased by a few hundred kb to the same exact size in all cases. Nice job, guys...

PDF Compressor 1.12
Nice and easy to download. No install needed!
But compression rate is not to good. I tried differnt settings but only
reduces file from 8.6MB to 8.3MB. File is reduced but not much of a difference if you want to e-mail your document.

Not very effective
Pros: Easy download, no install necessary. It worked, but not very well.
Cons: Had a 127 page PDF document with about 1/3 of it images. Original 21.31mb (too large to email), after maximum compression setting (tried both flate and rle) resulted in 21.03mb, still too large to email.

david is right give it a try
can't hurt to try it. I was able to reduce documents by about 20% w/o using the compress options

Worth a try!
Though PDF Compressor doesn't work well all the time, it's worth a try since it's free and it's a small program that works without the need to install it.
I've saved a couple of MBs on certain files!

PDF Compressor 1.12 did not work too well
I downloaded easily enough but when I tried it on a single-page pdf document of some text and three pictures, about 2Mb size, the resulting file was actually just slightly larger that the original! I tried several times, ticking the various option boxes, and each time the file was always larger and varying only very little in size.
I then tried a large file of several pages, each with some images, about 7Mb filesize. PDF Compressor just froze my PC, and I had to reboot. I did it twice with same result.
It does not seem to work correctly.
