BARCODE SCANNER REVIEWS

Useless
This piece of software does nothing. It just presents an "open file" dialog. You then press "Extract" (why ? - it's already got all the file it's going to get). It then waits for ages and just says "timeout". How can it timeout just from reading a local file ? There is no status report as to why it failed, and no way to manually center/rotate the barcode, or to even verify that it has actually found the barcode in the image. I've tried scanning barcodes at all DPIs from 150 to 1200, manually fixing the image so the barcode is orthogonal, reversing the contrast, sharpening the image. Nothing works. This SW is a CWOT/
