PBXPLUS - Virtual PBX Review
Hi,
I appreciate your constant update on the telecom trends.
I represent PBX Plus (pbxplus.com) which is based on the award winning (Best of Show for SMB at IT Expo, LA 2009) platform – InVox (invox.com).
We would like to see you signup and review PBX Plus. I would be happy to add a FREE US or UK number with unlimited minutes to your account.
Your number would greet your callers with “Thanks for calling… Please say the name of the person or department you are trying to reach.” Caller can just say your name “…“and call will be forwarded to your mobile, landline or Skype account. It works with my Skype, offers free speech recognition, voicemail and voicemail transcription, eFAX (Fax In), Fax Out, Outbound FAX, Fax on Demand, unlimited extensions and sub-extensions etc.
The drag and drop designer (visio-like) can be used to configure PBX in just 15 mins. Wizard configures the PBX based on the answers to each question about your business.
In fact, show attendees at IT Expo walked out “This is the best I have seen till day for telephony era!”
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks.
Adam Smith

I have had the same problems - Moving to new system
After several months of trying to work with Axon and purchasing several additional modules from them for few hundred dollars, I am moving away from it. It is too unstable and as described by the previous person there are severe problems with keeping the connection between Axon and the phones or softphones.

Don′t waste your time - delete it
To get a reasonable solution you need beside Axon additional software (e.g. softphone talk, IMS, IVR) that is not free. The installation procedure and the applikation look easy and regarding all the promises of the vendor you start very optimistic. You come down to earh when realize (aftermany sleepless nights) that nothing is working as expected and that even a basic Voip solution could not be set up. I do not want to talk about fuctional details. There are many basic things were I could complain. The main thing is the very instable link between the softphone (I worked with express talk, the same company who developed Axon) and Axon. Not only instable but also difficult to set up becuase there are no tools or reasonable technical documents. Just try and error and error and error. In most cases the server is not found and can not be connected. The extensions can not be adressed (a customer want to call a specific extension and not a group) the original softphone from. After several calls the CPU load (Pentium 3200, 1 GB RAM) went up to 80 % and remained at this very high level without any reason. Yes it is possible to get a ringing if you call your Voip number, but only from time to time. There are no tools that help you to find out were a link is interupted or that a port blocked. There is almost no reasonable documentation that describe the functions, the tabs or any technical background. There is no online support. The FAQ section is very poor more a collection of unanswered questions. It is not managed by the distributor or any specialist. There is not even a basic support from the distributor (but you can buy a support package for a few dollar).
P.S. The integration with the software from the same developer for recording (VRS) and onhold-music (IMS) is working but the quality of recorded messages or the music that a caller can hear is anything else than acceptable. Save your money.
I recommend swith to the open software Solution Asterix. Set up your own system on a Linux distribution or get an Asterix server, ready configured and very professional for less than 800 US $. Sounds expensive but you get a profesional solution for your office and you save a lot of time and energy.
P.S. Be carefull with your (VRS or IMS) installation. You cannot reinstall your software as you like. Your downloaded software/installation and the registration key seem only to be valid for this instalation. Take a backup in advance. That important fact is explained in a very unclear form anywhere hidden within the online documentation.
